Fayetteville, AR --
EquityNet, LLC is showing its support for entrepreneurial firms by sponsoring
the National Business Incubation Association’s (NBIA’s) International
Conference on Business Incubation May 16-19 in Orlando, Fla.
Business incubation
programs facilitate the process of starting and growing companies by providing
entrepreneurs with the expertise, networks and tools they need to make their
ventures successful. NBIA estimates that in 2005 alone, North American
incubators assisted more than 27,000 start-up companies that provided full-time
employment for more than 100,000 workers and generated annual revenue of more
than $17 billion. Approximately 7,000 business incubators operate worldwide.
"EquityNet’s
relationship with NBIA is essential as we continue build brand awareness and
seek market adoption," said Matthew Imhoff, EquityNet VP of Business
Development. "We are pleased to be a part of the 2010 NBIA conference and
we look forward to years of future support."
"We are pleased to
have conference sponsors like these organizations,” said David Monkman, NBIA
president and CEO. “They understand that entrepreneurial companies are
catalysts for economic growth and job creation, and that business incubation
can help turn struggling economies. This makes our sponsors stars in my
book."
NBIA’s conference brings
together leading business incubation professionals, economic development
officials, public policymakers, university administrators and business
assistance experts from around the world to share the industry’s best
practices.
The four-day event at
The Buena Vista Palace in Orlando, Fla., will include more than 60 workshops
and roundtable discussions, exhibits and tours of area incubators. NBIA also
will celebrate its 25th anniversary as an organization during this event. Learn
