Fayetteville, AR --
EquityNet, LLC announced today a program for use and incorporation of
Enterprise Analyzer™ in university programs for business planning and
entrepreneurship.
EquityNet is offering
Enterprise Analyzer (EA) to universities that are interested in providing it to
students in entrepreneurship and business planning programs. In these programs,
students typically form teams that construct a complete business plan for an
actual operating business, a new startup, or for the commercialization of
university technology.
Dr. Carol Reeves, Cupp
Applied Professor in Entrepreneurship at the University of Arkansas Walton
College of Business stated, "Enterprise Analyzer provides a comprehensive
business assessment that gives students a rational way to measure their business
plan through the eyes of a sophisticated investor. EA ensures that all required
aspects are covered in the business plan and that planning assumptions are
realistic through EA's unique peer group comparisons. We are very excited to
have this resource available to our students."
Each student team can
enter its business plan into EA and learn what information sophisticated
private equity investors expect and how they analyze a business investment.
Enterprise Analyzer estimates the investment attractiveness of the students’
business and benchmarks it against other competing deals (on an anonymous
basis), including the business’s fair-market valuation, internal rate-of-return
(IRR), and risk profile.
EquityNet is currently
working with several universities in providing Enterprise Analyzer to their
students and plans to expand this program nationwide.
